La Forge Gites are located on a traditional “Touraine” farm which, although no longer a working farm, has retained its original character. It lies in a little hamlet nestling beneath an oak-covered hill, with its own grassy fields and woods stretching out beyond the swimming pool and car parking area. Peaceful countryside, yet only one kilometre from a comprehensive supermarket and petrol station and the smaller shops in Yzeures.
Ron and Elaine Morris live in the farmhouse and have converted the large stone barn into 2 gites which overlook the swimming pool and fields beyond. The entrances to both gites are on the far side of the barn, giving all properties their own walled and enclosed patios which are only ten paces from the gated and walled pool. The upstairs bedrooms are light and airy, the fitted kitchens are well provided with mod cons and the whole property has entrance gates making it safer for children.
